26 February 2017 sermon – Psalm 86:11-13 – Praying to Live in God’s Plan

Here is my sermon from today on the prayer ‘Unite my heart to fear your name’, from Psalm 86:11-13 (c.f. Colossians 3:1-5).  This is a prayer that takes us out of the boring, humdrum plodding of “Gimme Gimme” prayers that most Christians say to God, and plonks us right in the middle of His plans for us.  And it’s much more exciting than the Laundry List praying.

God bless, Pastor Haydn.
