10 September 2017 Sermon – Exodus 15 – Celebrating God’s Good Greatness

The fundamental basis of all good worship and praise to God is … God Himself.  For the Christian, it is being grounded in all that Jesus has done in becoming a human being and occupying our flesh, experiencing temptation and weakness, to die on the cross and liberate us from sin, death, and darkness.  If we make our worship all about us, we will be worshipping nothing but ourselves, and our faith will shrivel up.  Here is my sermon concerning these themes from Exodus 15, the celebration song of Israel, after crossing the Red Sea (c.f. Luke 1:46-55).

God bless, Pastor Haydn Sennitt.
