In Exodus 33, Moses prays an amazing petition to God. It’s gutsy, reminding God to keep His promises and to give him grace to get through the wilderness to the Promised Land. He even says to God, “If Your Presence is not with us, we cannot go any further”. Do we pray like that, or are our prayers more weak and tepid. Are we thirsty for the glory of God, earnestly seeking His Presence more than anything else – or only His presents? Here is my sermon on these themes from Exodus 33 (c.f. 2 Timothy 3:1-9).
God bless, Pastor Haydn.
